March BirchBox

Well here is the BirchBox of this month! I actually chose the Teen Vogue box this month. BirchBox gave you a chose to chose either your own personalized box or one that Teen Vogue had put together products for and I decided to do something different this time. I have to say that no matter what I get in the BirchBox, I just enjoy receiving this monthly subscription. It's like getting a present in your mail every month and even though you know you're getting one, the products are a surprise every month! The products I received this month were:

•Annick Goutal: Petite Cherie - a French, fruity fragrance
• essie: luxeffects - a glittery top coat nail polish that can be used separately or on top of your choice of color
•Shiseido: Pureness Oil-Control Blotting Papers - tissues coated with transparent rice powder to give you shine-free skin
• tarte: LipSurgence lip tint - long lasting lip stain and moisturizer
• twistband: Hair Tie - colorful, snag-free elastics
• ModCloth discount code - toward a fancy new frock for spring

My thoughts exactly...

PISCES Mar, 22, 2012
One thing that defines you, Pisces, is your ability to have faith. If you are religious, you are committed to the philosophies of your religion. If you choose to believe in a cause or a person, your belief is complete and free of doubt. But you may now be experiencing a crisis of faith, of sorts. What are you having trouble believing in? Yourself! You have every reason to trust a recent choice you made, as well as the way you handled it. Have faith that you did the right thing. Have faith in your integrity. Have faith in your intuition. And you will soon see proof that you did the right thing.

Just Call Me Dr. Lawrence

Well Good News Everyone!! Just in case you haven't heard yet… I've been accepted to Pharmacy School! Yaaaaahhhhh! I could not be more excited or more motivated than I am right now! All my fears are behind me and all I have left to do is get through these classes this semester and this summer and it will be smooth sailing. Well then there is actual Pharmacy School, but we aren't going to jump too far ahead. I am just so excited to not have to worry about the whole applying and interview process and mainly focus on my school work. Thank you for all of your prayers and support, it means the world to me! Here is a preview of the letter I received….   :) :) :) :) :) :)
Awesome, huh?! I hope you have had a great week as well <3

Alone With You

*Oh Happy Day*

I had my Biochemistry test this morning and I stayed up all night studying for it. I felt fairly good about the test when I left the building. I went to meet up with a friend I have met here to walk to our next class. I was so exhausted, I could barely keep my eyes open during class. It is Wednesday and I have had my first test of three and three lab reports due any day now. You could say that I have been stressed to the MAX. So as I am walking back to my car from class, it's an overcast, gloomy day and I'm feeling just tired and run down. I decide to check my e-mail as I wait to walk across the crosswalk… if you go to Auburn you know this can take a long time… and honestly it was like the clouds parted, the sun came out, and I had this overwhelming feeling of joy as I see an e-mail from Auburn being invited to an interview for Pharmacy School. You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this moment. I have been working on my pre requisites for about 2+ years and I began this application process last summer. With a few set backs, I have pushed through, still working hard, and praying for God's plan in my life no matter what it may be. I have been stressed and anxious about the whole process but still trying to stay positive. The sermon at church this past Sunday was about Abraham and Sarah and how God promised them a child but being in their old age, they decided to not wait on God's promise and do it their way. God eventually fulfilled His promise to Abraham and Sarah even though they didn't have faith that He would follow through. Pastor Chris preached about waiting on God's timing in your life and trusting and relying on Him to meet your wants and needs. This really spoke to me and I realized how I was trying to be in control of the situation instead of letting God take control for the plans of my life. So I let it go and decided that I would do everything to the glory of God and He will work out the details. I honestly was not expecting that letter today and I cannot even put into words how excited and thankful I am to have this opportunity to meet with the Admissions Committee. It does happen to fall on the same day as my Mammalian Test 2 but at this point I do not mind at all, I am just so ecstatic! This has truly been one of the best days I have had in I can't remember… no sleep and all! :) I hope you have all had a good week! My interview is Monday and I should find out within 24 hours whether I will be joining the Class of 2012! Prayers are much needed! I guess it's time for me to start on this Mammalian some more! <3

Quote of the Night:
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power
   and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
   for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, LORD, is the kingdom;
   you are exalted as head over all.
 Wealth and honor come from you;
   you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
   to exalt and give strength to all.
 Now, my God, I give you thanks,
   and praise your glorious name.
~ 1 Chronicles 29:11-13

My assistant needs clothes too!

This past weekend, thanks to my man, I am now the proud owner of a brand new iPhone 4S. I had a black 4 and handed it down and upgraded to the white 4S. Even though the outside of phone does not look much different, there are many thing that I can do with this phone that I could not with the 4. Probably the thing I like the most is of course Siri AND the dictation feature where you speak into the phone and it types out your words for e-mails, texts, notes, reminders, etc. That becomes very handy when you have little time and also when you are driving. So enough about the features, I am dying to get a cover for my iPhone. I never had one for my other iPhone and I have been looking for the perfect one to get. I found a few tonight to chose from:

What do you think? I love the bling because it's not too flashy but just enough to catch your eye. Of course, I am CRAZY about Tiffany's! And the last two are so girly, yet simple. I am so indecisive so I need your help! Let me know what your favorite is. I hope you are having a great weekend. I have been working on lab reports and studying away. Prayers are needed and would be appreciated. I love you, world!

My Week

I am not even going to rehash everything that has happened in the last week to two weeks because it was that bad. But, let's just say this note pretty much sums it up. When misfortunate events happen… which seems to be frequently in my case… I try not to dwell on it too much. I generally vent to a friend or two and then never repeat it again. You can't move forward if you are reliving your misfortune over and over again. I am determined to have a great weekend and and even greater week next week! I am very sorry I have not blogged!  this is becoming habitual No, really I will do my best to keep you updated on everything. I just hate to be the bearer of bad news all the time. You know the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, it's better to say nothing at all"? Well now you know where I stand when I go MIA on here for a couple of days! It just means it's time for prayers! I hope you have have a better week than I have and if you totally relate to this note, well I hope it gives you the courage to get up and fight another day. I have many many things to blog about so keep checking in! TGIF! <3
