Women: 1 Men: 0

As it should be...
Me: Babe, I think she (Coco) is thirsty! You didn't give her any water with her food!
Mark: Women... always wanting something....
Me: It is a man's world...
Mark: Pshhh...yeah... we get to cater to women the whole time
Me: HAHA... yeah. you are right.

I was watching E News and Robert Pattinson was talking about Breaking Dawn and the wedding scene. He had the perfect view of a man's role in a wedding! I tried to embed it on here but it wouldn't let me so you have to click the link... http://www.eonline.com/videos/did-twilight-stars-really-tie-the-knot/173308

11-1-11

Today is, I suppose, a sort of memorable day considering it is 11-1-11 and it will never be that day for another thousand years. Although, I guess you could think of every day with that point of view! ha well I though that it was pretty cool to see all of those 1's together since I usually wish on 11:11. How are all my followers doing?! Well I am trying to get into the mood to study. I found out I made a 94 on my Micro midterm and a 96 on my AnP Lab midterm and I have absolutely no concentration to study. I have a Micro test tomorrow and an AnP test on Thursday and I have been so distracted! Thats what happens when I go home and see all of my friends! It takes a week for me to get refocused again! ha I think a lot of is has to do with working so hard last week on those tests and doing so well, I am just burnt out! I need a long vaca in the mountains with all the pretty Christmas lights! :) I have not even listened to Christmas music... which is my favorite... because I am afraid I am going to get way too excited about the month long break I get! ha
I went home this weekend for Halloween and had so much fun seeing my friends and family. I was Dorothy on Friday night and a Sailor on Saturday night. It has been a long time since I have done 2 nights like that and lets just say that I was exhausted by Sunday! I hope you all had a Happy Halloween and have a great rest of the week. I'm leaving you with a picture of my pretty princess all dressed up for trick or treating! :) *Goodnight*

Listening to: All I Want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey I broke my own rule and just listened to it and now I am pumped to study :)

Good Wednesday

Sooooo I had a really awesome day today and let me tell you, those have been few and far between lately. Things have not been so great in barner town BUT I am not going back there... I am sending off ONLY positive energy and welcoming positive energy! I found out a spot came open in the Mammalian Physiology class that I needed... Praise the Lord. I also received a FREE tan from Palm Beach Tan right after I found out there was one here and was planning on going tomorrow... Praise the Lord. I have become quite pastey and need some color before I put on my halloween outfit! Speaking of Halloween... I am uber excited about this weekend! I have not been home to see any of my family or friends since this semester has begun. I cannot even contain how happy I am to finally get some social interaction and go out. I am hoping, however, that the weather does not get any cooler or we will definitely be freezing! Cassie called me today and asked if I wanted to work over Thanksgiving and Christmas break at Schaeffer. I can honestly say that the thought of me going back to work is so exciting! I feel like a hermit down here and like I have lost all capability of interaction with strangers. I miss working with the public! I miss talking to strangers! I miss helping people I do not know and trying to work out their problems or complaints! ok ok ok I know you think I am going clinicaly insane but its true. I really think that as a student (since I have been on both sides now) you can get so bogged down by school work and trying to get in a professional study that you forget what it's all about. For some people they don't know what it is about until they get out of professional school and hate it but I have worked in the public and it's what I love. I loved helping people every day, even if it's just to put a smile on their face. This is why I chose the direction I am going, because I wanted to be able to consult and guide patients on a professional level. Ok, now that you have heard a portion of my personal statement for Pharmacy school, I'll spare you the rest. :) In a sum, I love people, I love God, I love serving people and I love serving God. Forgive my over enthusiasm but if you only knew how down I have been you would be happy that Optomistic Sarah is back. I hope that you are all having a fabulous Hump Day and if you have been having one bad day after another like I had lately, I promise at some point it can only go up and it will. That is hope enough to wake up with a smile and expect today will be the day it all turns around! I'm off to studying for my two tests next week! Check out the song below that I am listening to. I heard it for the first time today and it will instantly put you in a good mood! *Goodnight*

When Will The Bells Ring For Me - Tony Bennett
I wonder when do the bells ring for me
When someone tugs a heartstring for me?
When does it come my time?
When does the poem rhyme?
When do the songs they sing, sing for me?
To those who say "Hey, wake up and feel life"
I say "I'm ready, just show me the way"
Show me those arms that say "Welcome to real life"
And we'll stay, we'll stay
How many parties more can I run to?
How many little loves can there be
Before it's all a bore?
Forget it, I want more
I want someone who wants more of me
Like making promises good in the daylight
The thing is here am I, where is she?
When is it my chance?
When is it my dance?
When do the bells ring for me?

I know that it is already half way through the month AND it has been a while since I have blogged. Let's just say, I haven't had much of a life the past month with all the school work I have to do. I have barely had time to keep my place clean. I did, however, go to the Auburn/Florida game together and had a fabulous time with my brother and friends. It was a great game to go to, the weather was nice and Auburn won!! Yippeeee!! SO... I have had some time to think about the month of October and why I love it so much. Different things kept coming to mind about this month and I thought I would share.

1. Breast Cancer Awareness Month
2. the good football games start
3. the weather is beginning to cool off but not too cold
4. HALLOWEEN
5. the leaves are beginning to change and fall off
6. it's getting darker early (most people would see this as a negative thing but I think it will help with me getting in bed earlier… let's hope)
6. You can find anything you could ever want in the color PINK (hence #1)
7. My Father's birthday is this month
8. I have not had to turn on my AC the whole month!
9. 2 months until CHRISTMAS!
10. Winter shopping begins…
11. Pumpkin carving :)
12. It's not abnormal to eat 3 bags of Candy Corn in 2 weeks!
13. Coco's grooming are less frequent so she can stay warm! which means more presents for her!!!

Not to be pessimistic, but just to put it out there; my LEAST favorite thing about this month is the scary movies on television and movie theaters. I am not a fan of horror movies and every time I turn on the television there is either an actual scary movie on or a preview for one. YUCK!
If you can think of anything I am missing or perhaps you just want to share what your favorite things are about this month, let me know! :) I hope you all have been having a good month… savor the rest of it because the holidays are right around the corner! :) I am highly looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, I may even decide to be a betty homemaker and cook something!
*HAPPY HUMP DAY**

48 Hour Painting

My mother came down this weekend and we painted all day Friday and Saturday. We managed to get the kitchen and living room painted, one pair of curtains put up and everything back in place in those 2 days. It already looks like a completely different place, It's amazing! I have some a lot of before and after pictures to show. Remember, we have not fully decorated and put all of the curtains and pictures up and all but the paint job makes it look amazingly better! I was so worn out from all that painting, I slept 13 hrs last night! So now that I should be studying, all I can think about is decorating and all I want to do! haha I hope you are all having a great weekend. Enjoy my transformation and I will update when I finish putting up curtains and pictures. Some of the before pictures are when we first looked at it with the previous owners furniture in there and then some are when we moved everything in.!

WHAT DO YOU THINK?!

Quote of the Day: If we can recognize that change and uncertainty are basic principles, we can greet the future and the transformation we are undergoing with the understanding that we do not know enough to be pessimistic. - Hazel Henderson

MicroBio

So I have been studying Microbiology all day for a test I have tomorrow. I actually am very interested in the subject. It's intriguing to see what bacteria cause what diseases and why. Wish me well on the test… I've got a good streak going and don't want to lose it! :) Tomorrow is Hump Day, Hip Hip Hooray!

Keeping me up for the night!

You know I am distracted when I start coloring my Study Guide
